Currently, if you add an empty slot on a sheet the crop marks won’t show up. Which means, we need to add blank pages to a document to force the crops to show up.
I would be preferred if the crops would show up regardless if the slot is empty or not.
Thanks for putting it in this group too. We talked about this a bit internally, and there doesn’t seem to be another way to do this elegantly right now, so this is indeed a feature request.
I’ve written it down.
The workarounds for now are indeed as said in the original post:
Add a blank page to the document, and use that in imposition for any slot that you want to be blank.
Draw all marks using an overlay (if they are fixed and always the same, this by far is the most efficient way of doing things), or add them during imposition using the decoration feature.
